Mystery Book Lovers’ Club February 2020

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we can at least still read books!

I moved our March meeting into a larger room in my home with chairs spaced to accommodate socially distanced seating. There were (and are!) also two sinks abutting the room, and a can of Lysol at hand for added measure. Then it became clear everyone in one room was too close. Thank you Marie-Susanne for hosting the Zoom meeting. You inspired me to do the same for April.

Literary Tidbits:

The author of BLANCH ON THE LAMB, our March read by Barbara Neely, passed away. A story in NPR reminded me I should learn more about our authors, and their life activism in real life.

Murder and Mayhem Chicago conference went online also. With over 900 people logging on internationally, it gave a real sense of community and a welcome diversion from confined life. As usual, it was co-hosted by Lori Rader-Day, author of our July 2017
