Mystery Book Lovers’ Club January 2020

Well, I’m back after our hike on the AT, where I listened to THE WAY OF KINGS by Brandon Sanderson…most of it anyway — it’s long. Check it out if you’re interested in an epic fantasy novel. Check it out!

If you’re sticking to mystery and looking for your next read, we’ve got it! Thanks to everyone who submitted ideas for titles and to the MLB Clubbers who braved an 18-degree evening to (finish) voting for our next list. There were so many good titles to choose from, yet we intrepid readers managed to whittle our choices for February through November.

Up next (February 20): BLANCHE ON THE LAM – Barbara Neely’s Smart, Sassy, and Groundbreaking Crime Novel. “Blanche White is a plump, feisty, middle-aged African-American housekeeper working for the genteel rich in North Carolina. But when an employer stiffs her, and her checks bounce, she goes on the lam, hiding out as a maid for a wealthy family at their summer home.”
